Reconstructed part of the building at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies – Bitola

The reconstructed part of the building with an area of about 800 m2 was put into use at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies – Bitola, University “St. Kliment Ohridski ”- Bitola on 19.10.2020.

The reconstruction was part of the project “Creating employment opportunities for young graduates in the border region – EMPLOYEES”, funded by the European Union and national funds of the participating countries, within the Border Cooperation Program “Greece – Republic of Northern Macedonia 2014-2020”. The value of the investment is ~ 113,000 EUR.

The reconstructed part was put into use by the Rector of the University “St. Kliment Ohridski ”- Bitola, prof. Dr. Sasho Korunovski, Deputy Minister of Local Self-Government Zoran Dimitrovski and the Vice Rector of Science at the University “St. Kliment Ohridski ”- Bitola and project manager EMPLOYEES prof. Dr. Igor Nedelkovski.

This space will be crucial for the education of the students. It will have an IT hub, a place where students will meet with the IT industry and work on joint real projects that will provide students with real practical training and greater employability. There will be a start-up center in this area, a place where students will be able to establish their own companies and receive support for their launch on the market.
